Teacher Spotlight: Callum, Edinburgh

I’ve been swimming or near pools for nearly all my life as I instantly took to the water, having been involved with the sport from a very young age. It was wanting to pass on that knowledge from my journey to the next generation, that led me to start teaching. As soon as I started teaching for SwimEasy I knew it was the right place for me.

I see SwimEasy as different to most teaching jobs, as we have a strong collaborative work place where we can all learn and develop our teaching skills together to truly provide the best teaching. We get to see each child progress, and develop a love of the water, from their first time putting their faces in, to their first tumble turns and nothing is more rewarding than seeing them overcoming something they’ve struggled with. Especially when they are so excited to go home and tell their parents what they’ve achieved!

When I’m not teaching, you can still normally find me in a pool going for a swim myself or exploring outside. One thing I love is trying new food places!
