As we approach October RapidTrack and a short break for some, it’s the perfect time to reflect on what has been an outstanding Autumn term for your children. We’ve had great success with the soft launch of our “Passport to Successful Teaching,” which provides valuable visual learning cues for students. The trial pools have responded positively, and this resource will be fully introduced in the Winter Term. At SwimEasy, we emphasize creativity and ownership, supporting both staff and students in unlocking their full potential. The Teacher’s Passport is a reflection of our commitment to ensuring excellence in learning. As a quick reminder to parents, please rinse your children’s SwimEasy caps after each session to help them last longer.
Celebrating Our Champion Teachers
A huge congratulations to SwimEasy Teacher Cara Gordon, who was awarded the Denis Sullivan Memorial Trophy at the Scottish Swimming Awards. Cara has had a stellar year, becoming the Scottish 5km and 10km Champion and winning the Senior Elite Female medal at BestFest 2024 in Majorca. We are incredibly proud that such a humble and accomplished athlete is part of our SwimEasy family, teaching and inspiring our young swimmers. Well done, Cara—your SwimEasy family is cheering you on!
Partnering with Darcey Sunshine Foundation
SwimEasy is proud to continue our partnership with the Darcey Sunshine Foundation, providing bursary places for families in financial need. We are in discussions to explore even more ways to support this incredible cause and keep water safety at the forefront of Scottish communities. To help raise awareness, the foundation is hosting its Winter Sunshine Ball at the Crown Plaza in Glasgow on November 1st. If you’re interested in attending and supporting this vital cause, be sure to secure your table soon by emailing hello@darceysunshine.org.
